Objectif Sciences International launches a big Call for Proposals, in order to increase its portfolio of participatory research projects in Switzerland.

In 2005, teeanagers named craters on Mars’ map of the NASA ; every year since 2006, volunteer citizens bring back photos and videos of Snow Leopard (including the first video of 2 snow leopard reproducing) ; in 2019 kids and their scientific educators made the first 3D model of a swiss glacier produced by drones...

...so what will you propose to create with you, as a fantastic project of participatory research, in Switzerland, in the next few years ?

OSI Switzerland wants to breathe new life into its group.

To do so, it is organizing a major Call for Proposals. This page summarises all the information about the calendar and the application procedure.

OSI’s core activity is to organise participatory research projects in the format of vacation stays, school trips or scientific holidays. This implies the cooperation of several expertises :

  • Sciences
  • Logistics
  • Pedagogy
  • Communication
  • Recruitment of participants
  • Project management

You can have an overall view of all our projects through the world on the website http://www.vacances-scientifiques.com.

Step 2 : Sketch of the project

We will ask you to write an online sketch, alone or in collaboration with matching participants from the Expression of Interest. This sketch for your participatory science project will be another, more detailed form to fill in, answering questions like : what is the scientific project ? Why is it interesting ?
